Community Events

The Office of Government and Community Relations is responsible for implementing, promoting and managing outreach initiatives and programs in the Foggy Bottom/West End and Fox Hall communities to neighbors and businesses. Being a good neighbor and contributing to the cultural life of the community are priorities for the George Washington University. By offering these opportunities to our neighbors, GW is committed to enriching the lives of Foggy Bottom/West End and Fox Hall residents. We hope to see you at one of these events.

Community Holiday Dinner

Holiday Dinners

Every fall semester, GW invites the neighborhood to celebrate the holiday season over dinner and good conversation. The Thanksgiving celebration takes place in the community, where GW students are encouraged to reach across the aisle and contribute to the cultural life of the neighborhood. At the holiday dinner in December, GW invites our neighbors on campus to celebrate the end of the year and the beginning of a new year.
