In January 2023, the university announced it had signed a lease with Boston Properties (BP) to move the Campus Bookstore from the basement of the University Student Center to the ground floor at 2100 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The Campus Store will have not only books and apparel geared towards university students, staff, and alumni, but also traditional bookstore offerings including both adult and children’s books, school and home goods supplies, a “Made in DC” section with local products, and computer and technology products. The Store will also offer other community-serving uses, such as authorized Apple support technicians and events such as book signings and lectures.
