Building Managers
The GW building managers meeting is also an opportunity to discuss issues and trends in off-campus student behavior, campus developments, and to provide general university updates. We invite managers of all local apartments, condominiums and co-ops to attend and engage with staff from GW.
Building managers have the opportunity to meet with a staff member from the Office of Conflict Education & Student Accountability (CESA). The CESA manages matters involving student conduct and supports the university’s mission of guiding students to become more responsible citizens.
Each year, GW requires students who are moving off campus to take an online program that addresses "good neighbor" issues, educating students about appropriate conduct in the off-campus community. The program especially emphasizes the rights and responsibilities of being a good neighbor in the Fogggy Bottom community. Students are provided information about DC noise and trash restrictions, parking in the Foggy Bottom/West End area, and respect for residential and private business communities that make up the local neighborhood.
