The George Washington University
Speech and Hearing Center (GWUSHC) offers a full range of speech,
language, and hearing services for people of all ages with communicative
disorders. The Center maintains high standards in the delivery of
comprehensive evaluations and therapy.

The
GWUSHC is a fee-for-service facility and will provide forms for insurance
reimbursement.
Fees for audiological services range from $25 -
$500,
Fees for speech and language services are $50 per 50-minute individual
session, $25 per group session, and $150 per hour for evaluation.
Alumni and students receive a 50%
discount. |

Staff utilize the newest and
most innovative techniques, materials, and equipment. Modern
instrumentation and a well-stocked library of tests allow comprehensive
evaluation of therapy procedures.
The Center is staffed by
speech-language pathologists and audiologists who hold the Certificate of
Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
(ASHA).
The Center consists of a variety
of individual clinics including Early Intervention, Developmental Speech
and Language, Neurological Communication Disorders, Communication
Enhancement for Pediatrics and Adults, Fluency Disorders, Voice Disorders,
Audiology, and Aural Rehabilitation.
The clinic is conveniently
located near the Foggy Bottom Metro at 710 21st St, NW, Suite B01.
Operating hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
